On challenge.

We recently moved to DC from CH. Another new culture to learn. Another new challenge to take on.

As I am making my through this new space, I am meeting with some fascinating leaders in the coaching, consulting and business industries.

Today, rather than an easy breezy networking meeting where I ask if they can connect me to new people and work opportunities, the table was turned. The leader challenged me to be more forward facing beyond networking. He challenged me to post more on LinkedIn. This is the culture here. Do as the people do.

And so- I will now have to think about how to enter this new space in this new place authentically.

I am uncomfortable. And that’s okay.
